Job description

Job Summary:

Aptive is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC) support effort.

 

This individual will help design and implement lean, responsive processes to support strategic planning, decision-making, and executive level program management. This position requires strong customer interaction skills and a demonstrated ability to work with various, senior level stakeholders across multiple
tasks.

 

The successful candidate will be proactive with demonstrated success in developing executive level briefings and strategy materials while managing multiple, concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

 

The analyst will work directly with senior-level client leadership to track and manage tasks/projects, develop briefings and written materials, generate strategic recommendations to solve
operational challenges, facilitate working sessions with a broad range of stakeholders, and provide administrative and programmatic support.

 

This position requires strong customer interaction skills,
proactivity, strategic thinking, organization and attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to identify and work with various stakeholders across multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

 

This is a contingent requisition.  The expected start time would be Spring 2025.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support federal initiatives providing various services such as program and project management related support, program analysis, change management, organizational and functional
    assessments, performance metric development, data analysis, implementation planning, and business process reengineering
  • Support and lead project management activities including coordinating multiple tasks and project teams, facilitating project communications, and participating in various meetings and events
  • Coordinate with client and contract project managers and other staff to facilitate delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts, such as congressionally mandated reports, project plans,
    task trackers, executive briefings, and other project management/delivery artifacts.
  • Contribute to regular reporting on completed and planned work.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients to solicit feedback, document progress, identify focus areas for enhancement or improvement, and define support needs.
  • Build and foster relationships with federal partners and internal team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university. Advanced degree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA, MPH) preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience supporting federal agencies (ex, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense)
Desired Qualifications:
  • VHA experience highly desired, particularly with community care services
  • Experience in direct client service or in a client service capacity
  • Strong hands-on analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills with proven ability to balance competing tasks and meet deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of the clinical healthcare environment, including best practices regarding reporting, policies, procedures, systems and culture.
  • Advanced degree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA, MPH)
