Working under minimal supervision the Trainer is responsible for the successful development and delivery of internal and customer-faced training. Trainers may be required to lead or mentor on key deployment projects.

Essential Job Duties:  

  • Deliver and develop training offerings to both employees and customers. 
  • Mentor others on projects acting as a resource and subject matter expert when required. 
  • Successfully implement assigned projects. 
  • Maintain all required documentation and business requirements. 
  • Act as a product owner in your areas of expertise to assist product management. 
  • Resolve escalated support items. 
  • Complete assigned projects where required. 
  • Deliver technical support to support and sales groups. 
  • Pursue a program of self-development using selected readings, seminars, and participation in continuing education. 
  • Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process to customers and peers. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management. 
  • Support development of CDISC-compliant solutions for Merative Zelta product and services offerings 
  • Support CDISC-related client validation work with support from Services team 

Basic Qualifications (minimum requirements needed to perform this job) 

  • Significant understanding of the clinical trial industry and CDMS 
  • Strong clinical trial industry knowledge 
  • Ability to write/edit training materials (manuals, video scripts, program objectives) 
  • Understand database design practices 
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to create solutions 
  • Effectively train difficult concepts and technical solutions to both a novice and advanced audiences 
  • Strong written skills 
  • CDISC CDASH/SDTM training and/or 3years applied training, delivery or implementation experience
  • Travel up to 50%
