Job description

We’re reinventing the market research industry. Let’s reinvent it together.

At Numerator, we believe tomorrow’s success starts with today’s market intelligence. We empower the world’s leading brands and retailers with unmatched insights into consumer behavior and the influencers that drive it.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Promo Product team. Numerator Promo provides brands and retailers insight into promotional trade spend. With the largest, most comprehensive promotional data set, we provide unmatched insight into promotional awareness and effectiveness, competitive strategy, and promotional planning.

As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in innovating the product experience and building capabilities to optimize our business success. You will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle of strategic initiatives from discovery to launch, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions, and ensuring alignment of product initiatives with business objectives. You will be an expert in platform functionality and knowledgeable about our data methodology. You will be able to translate complex logic into client-facing answers.

What you'll do:

  • Execute the Promo product vision by developing and implementing strategic initiatives, addressing challenges through effective problem-solving, and navigating ambiguity to ensure successful product outcomes.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for features to enhance and innovate the Promo product experience, from initial data analysis and research to requirements gathering, solution design, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Become a close partner, advocate, and the go-to authority for internal and external stakeholders on the Voice of Customer, user pain points, product roadmap, and feature releases
  • Prioritize features and embrace an MVP mindset to ensure critical engineering resources work on the highest-impact solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment with teams such as engineering, design, operations, customer success and sales
  • Understand Numerator's evolving strategic and competitive position to deliver differentiated offerings continuously
  • Oversee product performance metrics, gather and analyze user feedback, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the product.

What You'll Bring to Numerator

  • 3-5 years of product management experience
  • Strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity and work through complex problems with a strong bias for action.
  • Ability to develop new ideas and iterate on existing solutions to bring the product vision to life.
  • End-to-end ownership mentality, demonstrating a high degree of accountability throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience effectively partnering with teams like engineering, operations, customer success, and sales
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to influence and inform stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and leadership. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to assess product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • A customer-centric approach with experience conducting user research to identify customer needs and build user empathy.
  • Experience building BI-type tools or transforming large data sets into user-friendly visualization products is preferred.
  • Curious. You are not afraid to ask questions, learn and improve.
