Our client in the Design Services industry is seeking an R&D Business Development Manager to join their award-winning team. This position is fully remote, outside of limited travel to industry events throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and have a strong background in design, engineering, and R&D, coupled with excellent communication skills to drive business growth and build lasting relationships. This role involves close collaboration with the Business Development Director, as well as internal R&D teams, to develop effective sales strategies and ensure project goals are met. Someone who is a natural storyteller, thrives on teamwork, and enjoys building and nurturing relationships would make the perfect fit. R&D Business Development Manager (Remote + Uncapped Commissions) Responsibilities

• Strategically and actively seek out new business opportunities

• Work with the Business Development Director to execute sales strategies

• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients

• Set and achieve sales targets based on metrics

• Collaborate closely with internal R&D teams to meet project goals

• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities

• Utilize CRM software to manage the sales pipeline effectively

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions

• Identify potential opportunities and threats

• Manage resources for sales and marketing support

R&D Business Development Manager (Remote + Uncapped Commissions) Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales/nurturing experience required

• 5+ years of Design, Engineering, or R&D experience required

• Comfort with technical design and engineering principles required

• Proven success driving business growth in R&D required

• CRM experience required
