Contact Center Solutions is looking for an EIT Engineering Team Lead for the Agent Workspace (AW) development and support team. In this role you manage people, interface with the AW uses, and lead decision making on direction and architecture for the largest, in-house developed application in the enterprise. With users across all lines of business, collaboration with business units and the ability to facilitate conversations are key. This role requires you to have the ability to lead strategic conversations, facilitate triage for incidents, coordinate business needs, advocate and support our strong Scrum methodologies.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day operations of a team with a focus on the maintenance and development of systems and supervising system modifications.
- Assigns, monitors, and reviews progress and accuracy of work. Provides staff management oversight including hiring, promoting, or making recommendations for staff. Conducts performance reviews and assessments, manages performance, engages in skills assessment, and promotes professional development of staff.
- Directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Ensures adherence to policies, plans, objectives, budgets and staffing allocations.
- Manages and tracks team-level project details and serves as the technical subject matter expert and provides leadership during periods of transition.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Sciences related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 5 year - Experience with information technology concepts, application development and/or enterprise system maintenance methodology, terminology, and standards required
- 5 years – Systems maintenance and/or programming experience required
- 3 year - Expert working knowledge of at least one programming language and/or one enterprise system in use at BCBST
Skills\Certifications
- Knowledge of information technology concepts, methodology, terminology, and standards.
- Proven Skill to develop and/or maintain an enterprise IT system
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in one or more enterprise IT systems
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office and email skills are required
- Adaptive to high pace and changing environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical co-workers.
- Must be willing to adjust schedule to plan and perform maintenance and upgrades outside of business hours and be part of an on-call rotation.
- Prior experience with .net preferred.
- Ability to use SQL and web API's.
