Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail while producing verbatim transcripts in accordance with client-specific style guides.
• Collaborate with the in-office team for guidance and support as necessary.
  
  

Required Skills

• Significant experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
• Exceptional listening skills and adherence to deadlines.
• Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
• Proficient typing skills with both speed and accuracy.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
• Ability to process challenging audio/text content (content may be sensitive).
• Capacity to pass a background check.

• Proven experience transcribing legal documents, specifically depositions and hearings.
• Relevant educational background or training in legal transcription is preferred.
