Job description

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced HCM Supervisor with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Human Capital Management (HCM) to lead and oversee the HCM processes and systems within the organization. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of HR functions with advanced technical proficiency in Oracle EBS to ensure seamless HR operations, data integrity, and system optimization. This role bridges HR and IT, driving efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 
1. HCM Operations Management: 
  • Supervise and manage all HCM-related activities within Oracle EBS, including Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR (SSHR), and Time and Labor. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee records and payroll data. 
  • Collaborate with HR teams to align Oracle EBS functionalities with business requirements. 
2. System Maintenance and Optimization: 
  • Monitor and maintain Oracle EBS HCM modules for optimal performance and  functionality. 
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, coordinating with IT or external consultants when needed. 
  • Implement and test system updates, patches, and enhancements. 
3. Data Integrity and Reporting: 
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Oracle EBS HCM modules through regular audits and validations. 
  • Develop, generate, and distribute HR and payroll reports using Oracle BI or other reporting tools. 
  • Support analytics and decision-making by providing actionable insights from system data. 
4. Process Improvement and Automation: 
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement automation within Oracle EBS HCM modules. 
  • Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and user experience for HR teams  and employees. 
5. Compliance and Documentation: 
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies within the Oracle EBS HCM environment. 
  • Maintain proper documentation for workflows, processes, and system configurations. 
  • Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate system data and  reports. 
6. Team Leadership and Training: 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HCM team, fostering professional growth and development. 
  • Conduct training sessions for HR teams and end-users to maximize system utilization and efficiency. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Oracle EBS HCM-related queries and support. 
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of HCM data with other business processes. 
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects, such as system upgrades, implementations, or data migrations. 
Qualifications and Skills: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). 
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, SSHR, and Time and Labor. 
• Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements. 
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle reporting tools (BI Publisher, Discoverer, or FSG). 
• Experience with system configurations, workflows, and customizations in Oracle EBS HCM. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. 
Preferred Skills: 
• Experience with Oracle EBS upgrades or implementations (R12). 
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM is a plus. 
• Familiarity with integration tools and third-party applications for HRIS. 
• Certification in Oracle HCM or related areas is advantageous.
