Our work depends on Systems Engineer Senior joining our team to provide a transformative journey with Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure, and we are seeking a talented M365 Engineer to lead our efforts in adopting new features, assisting with rollout plans, and supporting the migration of on-premises services to the cloud environment keeping the end user’s experience your priority.

How a M365 SME will make an impact:

  • Stay abreast of all new features, capabilities, and updates within Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms.
  • Assist in developing and executing rollout plans for new M365 features and services, ensuring smooth adoption across the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to assess current on-premises services and develop migration strategies to M365 and Azure.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of M365 and Azure cloud services, adhering to best practices and security standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to M365 and Azure cloud environments.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and reliability of M365 and Azure services, implementing proactive measures for continual service improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies in M365 and Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve complex technical issues and enhance service delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and M365, recommending enhancements or optimizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • As an M365 System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining M365 architecture and Azure platforms
  • Provides expertise in high availability, contingency planning, and automated provisioning.
  • Collaborates with enterprise architecture team and other stakeholders to determine enterprise tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Responsible for delivering an end-to-end M365 architecture solution across domains.
  • Provide support as technical expert to assist with identifying and developing new customer opportunities. As such, answer questions, consult, and/or develop presentations for potential customers.
  • Analyze customer requirements and business demands to assess design/technology alternatives and propose solutions.
  • Present and/or facilitate technical discussions with technical SMEs as well as customers and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge with all areas of Microsoft 365 from a user and administrator within Exchange Online, SharePoint online, Power Platform, Teams, and other M365 applications.
  • Development/implementation of resilient, AI and Automation technology to reduce manual workload.
  • Creation of comprehensive SOPs, Deployment, and Test plans. Plans to include flow charts and diagrams.

Required Certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals

Highly Desired Certifications (1 or more):

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Knowledgeable within all administrative areas of M365 to include Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Teams
  • Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge with conditional access policies and collaboration
  • Data Loss Prevention Policies and Sensitive Information Types
  • Data Lifecycle and Records Management (Retention Labels, Retention Policies)
  • eDiscovery and Compliance Boundaries
  • Information Protection Sensitivity Labels

The likely salary range for this position is $105,622 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
