This is a technical role for Dynata’s Cmix team. Our engineers are deeply involved in the production and support of the Cmix platform. Engineers are responsible for direct technical support of clients and performing software QA as part of the Cmix engineering team.
Responsibilities
· Drive the creation or enhancement of automated test suites for both UI and API software.
· Perform functional testing of new features and incorporate new requirements into test suites.
· Investigate, replicate, and troubleshoot customer issues reported by Dynata’s primary support organization.
· Escalate software bugs with explanations of and instructions to replicate reported issues.
· Support feature deployments to cloud infrastructure.
· Accumulate expert knowledge of the Cmix platform, both technical and UX.
· Participate in bi-monthly sprint cycles.
Skills and Attributes
· Solid understanding of software QA methodology and principals.
· Understanding of CI/CD best practices.
· Experience writing test plans, test strategies, test automation, and test cases.
· Manual, automated testing experience of complex web applications and RESTful APIs.
· Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
· Experience creating and executing application load testing.
· Experience with cloud environments and highly-available web services.
· Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues.
Education and Experience
· 3+ years of professional software QA experience.
· Degree in Computer Science (or a closely-related discipline) or equivalent experience.
· Experience with troubleshooting customer issues.
· Experience with scripting languages, preferably Typescript.
