Job Summary:

WestLink is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the development and delivery of software projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure project success. Your ability to communicate effectively, organize complex projects, and lead cross-functional teams will contribute to the overall success of our software solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, clients, and development teams to define and prioritize project requirements.

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with business goals.

  • Work closely with the product management team, clients and development team, UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories.

  • Define product roadmaps, sprint goals, and milestones to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborate with the product management team, clients and development team to gather feedback, manage expectations, and drive product vision.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address challenges to meet deadlines.

  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) to track progress and manage workflows.

  • Leverage data-driven insights to enhance product decision-making and optimize user experience.

  • Ensure alignment of project objectives with overall company strategy and client expectations.





Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or a similar role in software development.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile environments.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams effectively.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Experience with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.

  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and their impact on user-friendly software interfaces.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align project goals with company strategy and client needs.

  • Proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to take ownership of challenges and drive solutions.

  • A continuous learning mindset and commitment to staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
