This is a prospecting, client facing, pre-sales role!

The ideal candidate will have a background in selling, supporting or implementing financial-oriented technology solutions to mid-to-large sized companies. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with Finance, Accounts Payable and Travel professionals through individual conversations, group presentations and product demonstrations. Internal collaboration will be expected across the sales, implementation and product organizations. 

Essential Functions
  • Solution Selling Excellence: Partner with sales executives to lead value-driven discovery conversations, unearthing customer pain points and aligning Emburse’s solutions to their needs.
  • Technical Storytelling: Build and deliver customized presentations that demonstrate how Emburse uniquely solves spend management challenges, going beyond traditional functionality demos.
  • Collaboration Engagement: Work closely with prospects to co-create tailored solutions, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process
  • Strategic Influence: Provide actionable insights to prospects, positioning Emburse as a transformative partner that enables growth and innovation.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscapes, bringing fresh perspectives to our clients and internal teams.

  • Preferred: BA/BS degree preferred, experience may substitute

  • Experience
  • Experience as a Solutions Consultant (SC) in the spend management space.
  • Prior roles in solutions consulting, sales or implementation in B2B SaaS organizations.
  • Hands-on experience as a client-side system administrator or implementation expert for spend management software.
  • Background in prospect/client facing roles that sell into B2B SaaS or services to finance/accounting departments.

  • Strong presentation skills, both online and in-person
  • Comfort and ability to work in a team selling environment
  • Ability to articulate financial business solutions
  • Technical/Functional acumen and the ability to lead technical/functional discussions
  • Experience and training specific to software demonstration
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work across functional teams
  • Ability to autonomously work from home
