Associate Corporate Counsel
AHEAD is currently seeking an Associate Counsel to provide day-to-day legal support and counseling to AHEAD’s sales team and stakeholders. You will report to AHEAD’s Senior Counsel.
ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with internal sales team as well as vendors and customers;Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts, including hardware, software, professional services, subcontractors, non-disclosure, and vendor agreements;Leading contract negotiations with sophisticated counter-parties;Proposes and assists with developing tools to improve contractual processes and documentation; andAssessing and minimizing sources of risk, with appropriate escalations as necessary.In-House Counsel Required Qualifications1 to 3 years of experience in a contracts group, as in-house counsel, or in corporate law;Expertise in drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts, with a focus on technology contracts;Ability to juggle high volume and multiple projects, which will require timely decisions;Customer/client-focused orientation;Strong analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills; Excellent business judgment, attention to detail, and self-motivation; andMust be a member in good standing of a state Bar.Why AHEAD:

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
