Job description

Shift Collab is one of Canada’s largest therapy practices, operating virtually to support Canadians from coast-to-coast. We believe going to therapy should feel empowering, and we are on a mission to make therapy human by providing mental health care that’s approachable, meaningful, and designed to make a real impact. Founded in 2016, we’re a family-owned business that’s gone from a small clinic to over 125 brilliant teammates nationally—and we’re only getting started.

We're Hiring A Marketing Coordinator!

We are seeking a passionate Marketing Coordinator to join our small, but mighty marketing team. This dynamic role requires someone who can think strategically while effectively managing multiple projects, helping to craft compelling narratives across channels and drive data-informed decisions that optimize our marketing ROI. The ideal candidate brings strong copywriting abilities and experience building sophisticated email marketing campaigns, a solid understanding of brand principles, an interest in capturing and editing video content, as well as a strong grasp of digital marketing strategy and execution.

If you're an eager, marketing-savvy individual who thrives on variety and brings both creativity and analytical thinking to the table, we'd love to hear from you!

Who You Are:

  • A proactive self-starter: You approach your work with enthusiasm and a strong sense of ownership. You’re organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and enjoy finding new ways to engage your audience. You take the initiative, spotting opportunities and tackling tasks without needing constant direction.
  • A strategic connector: You have experience growing healthy and engaged online communities, and you actively stay ahead of industry trends. You understand the balance between growing our digital presence and creating meaningful content, backed by data-driven decisions.
  • A quality-focused organizer: You take pride in staying organized and keeping projects on track. You manage deadlines well and are always looking for ways to improve your processes and maintain high-quality work.
  • A collaborative team player: You bring a willingness to work in team-oriented environments and are eager to contribute to group efforts. You value building strong professional relationships with both internal teams and external partners. You thrive on prioritizing collective success and look forward to supporting teammates to drive impact together.
  • A continuous learner: You demonstrate a track record of staying current with B2C marketing trends and best practices. You have a growth mindset and actively seek opportunities to expand your skills. You engage with the marketing community through professional development and industry networking. You embrace a learning journey, constantly evolving and challenging yourself to grow personally and professionally.
  • A brand advocate: You understand the principles of branding and product marketing. You've worked with brand guidelines and can maintain consistent messaging across different channels. You appreciate the importance of brand storytelling and can translate company values into compelling content.
  • An affinity for therapy: Whether through your own experience or that of a loved one, you deeply understand the power of therapy—especially in today’s world. You are fascinated by our minds, our needs, and how we navigate everyday life. You can take this personal insight and use it as a compass to make decisions. You care deeply about diversity, equity and inclusion and are keen to make the wellness industry more equitable.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns across all channels such as online advertising, website strategy, social media, email marketing, and other deliverables aimed at engaging target audiences.
  • Manage multiple marketing projects with guidance from the Senior Marketing Manager, ensuring clear and efficient communication with internal stakeholders. Take ownership of outcomes by making thoughtful decisions and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Support the management and launch of therapist profiles, including writing and editing bios, as well as recording and editing therapist intro videos.
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns in HubSpot, including tasks like list segmentation, workflow setup, and performance tracking. Keep client expectations and best interests in mind when crafting each email.
  • Write, edit, and update marketing content across various platforms, ensuring brand consistency, impactful storytelling, and SEO effectiveness. Leverage creativity and insights to deliver content that resonates with your audience.
  • Monitor key trends and conversations across all platforms, tracking emerging topics, competitive activity, industry news, and other relevant insights. Stay agile and embrace evolving trends that challenge the status quo.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of both internal and external events, whether they’re local in-person events in Toronto, virtual workshops, or Instagram Live sessions during awareness campaigns.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in strategic planning, the implementation of new marketing initiatives, and ongoing process improvements, while collaborating closely with the team to champion each other’s success and drive collective growth.

What You'll Bring To The Table:

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, including internships, co-op placements, or relevant freelance projects.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
  • Socially savvy, with hands-on experience using key platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Basic design skills in Canva, with an eye for typography and clean, visually appealing layouts.
  • A passion for video content; video editing skills are a bonus.
  • Ability to track and report on key metrics, such as engagement, growth, paid/organic traffic, etc.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with data analysis and an eagerness to learn how to apply insights to improve marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms is a plus.
  • Experience using Google Workspace, Slack, HubSpot, and Coda is a bonus.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and platforms, especially ones that use AI, to increase our quality and turnaround time.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus, but we prioritize candidates who demonstrate strong marketing aptitude and a solid track record of executing projects successfully, regardless of formal education.
  • This role requires a quiet, distraction-free workstation at home for focused work, as well as participation in daily team meetings via video conferencing.
  • While this is a remote position, in-person events and meetings will take place in Toronto (or nearby locations), so candidates must reside within two hours of the GTHA and be willing to commute into Toronto at least once per month.
  • Candidates should have a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to consistently follow through on tasks, ensuring high-quality outcomes. You must be comfortable working independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
  • This is a fast-paced work environment. Candidates should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and remain adaptable to shifting deadlines and priorities.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $50,000-$65,000
  • Remote first, with occasional in-person team meetings in Toronto
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits, plus a health spending account
  • Wellness days in addition to sick days, vacation, and your birthday off
  • Volunteer days to give back to a cause of your choice

If you're passionate about contributing to a mental healthcare company and believe you're the perfect fit, we'd love to hear from you!
