Title: Business Development Partner – Education Funding Partnership

Location: Remote – Anywhere in the contiguous US
Compensation: Anticipated compensation is $25-30/hour.*
Job Summary
As an Education Business Development Partner for Funding Partnerships, your primary responsibility is to identify potential funding partnerships among non-profit organizations and secure meetings to explore partnerships with FranklinCovey Education for the purpose of helping districts and schools fund and implement Leader in Me.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create an on-going business development and brand awareness strategy for a list of target foundations and nonprofits utilizing assets created by education marketing to support the Leader in Me process.
- Research target foundations and nonprofits, decision makers, and influencers to create prospecting strategies.
- Utilize a combination of calls, emails, social media, marketing, and automated systems to contact engaged prospects.
- Schedule exploratory meetings between potential clients and FranklinCovey Education Executives to move opportunities forward.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in education, business administration, marketing, economics, or a directly related field
- 4+ years of experience in a sales, marketing, or lead generation role
- 4+ years of experience working in K-12 Education and/or with foundations and non-profits which fund school programs
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce and sales automation systems such as Outreach.io
- Familiarity with the industry and market dynamics relevant to FranklinCovey solutions is a plus. Understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape helps in identifying growth opportunities.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfortability interacting with prospects via phone, chat, and other methods
- Energized by continual growth, both professionally and personally
