Cloud Engineer (5621)

As Cloud Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure. The role involves collaborating with development teams to manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security best practices, and supporting cloud migration projects.

What you’ll do:

• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage accounts, and security services.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
• Implement security protocols, manage Azure Active Directory, and ensure compliance with federal security standards.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring availability and scalability of Azure services.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in planning and execution of cloud migration projects from on-premise environments.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with Azure security tools like Azure Security Center, Azure AD, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
• Strong networking knowledge, including virtual networks and VPNs.
