Maze is seeking an innovative Principal Brand Designer to redefine how we communicate our brand to the world. This hands-on role is pivotal in shaping Maze’s visual identity as we scale, ensuring it resonates deeply with enterprise customers and adapts to the dynamic needs of a fast-growing SaaS business. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to evolve and scale our brand, designing assets that elevate Maze’s market presence and solidify our  position as a leader in user research.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the evolution of Maze’s brand design system, driving consistency and scalability across all customer touch points.

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and leadership to define Maze’s brand identity across channels.

  • Evolve Maze’s website experience to reflect our value proposition and drive customer engagement.

  • Drive innovation in visual storytelling through the creation of motion graphics and animations that elevate brand communication.

  • Define the look and feel of new asset types and marketing collateral, such as video content, social media graphics, and other emerging formats, while delivering high-quality assets for established formats like digital ads, email templates, presentations, and print materials.

  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop assets for campaigns that drive Maze's go-to-market initiatives.

  • Align marketing design with product design systems to deliver a cohesive brand experience.

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of experience in brand design with a proven ability to elevate and scale brand systems.

  • Experience designing for B2B SaaS brands, bonus points for marketing to enterprise customers.

  • Strong conceptual thinker with an ability to connect design strategy to business outcomes.

  • Expertise in Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to craft and scale a cohesive visual identity across diverse channels.

  • Experience leading brand refresh/evolution project(s).

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders and articulate design decisions.

  • Experience developing motion graphics and animations that drive brand engagement.

  • A track record of driving impactful design in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

We typically target the low - mid point of the salary range to allow room for growth within the role.
