Summary:
Commercial Solutions is a results-driven organization that emphasizes having a customer focus for key decisions. The Senior Business Analyst will have the responsibility of supporting customer-specific insights in Commercial Solutions’ sales opportunities and internal business cases. He/she will accomplish this by improving organizational knowledge of cross-segment strategies through opportunity analysis and strategic communications describing the recommended solutions and capabilities based on the target account. The Senior Business Analyst is the business point person supporting how to convey the strategic and tactical recommendations so that internal leaders and/or potential buyers can make better informed business decisions in areas spanning Cencora's commercial segments. This position will work cross functionally to facilitate and encourage alignment and a shared vision of a proposed solution or business case. In addition, this role will define and create ongoing updates and scorecards that illustrate progress against strategic objectives, company metrics and KPI's and validates with the Commercial Solutions leadership team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Document and define key strategic opportunities that will have performance improvements, operational efficiency gains, and profitability through cross-segment approaches and solutions
Working in partnership with sales, strategy, and finance leaders, understand and determine high-level business requirements and then convey appropriate recommendations in presentations, business cases and proposals
Monitor market research and trends, internal strategic priorities, sales pipelines, and solution portfolios to ensure alignment, integrity and quality of proposals and business cases
Ownership and management of cross-segment processes for business analysis that are established to derive value for the organization and drive growth
Work with business stakeholders to recommend solution or business case modifications and facilitate cross-segment implementation of these changes
Perform ad hoc analysis based on customer requests in the sales cycle and other business needs
Work independently with third party consultants and a wide range of internal departments and stakeholders to ensure business expectations are met
Lead in the creation and ongoing support of needed client reporting and metrics for payers
Assist in the invoicing and accounts receivable processes with both internal team and clients
Assists the Commercial Solutions leadership team with special projects as needed
Required and Qualifications:
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in order to make ongoing improvements to the operation
Ability to lead diverse groups spanning multiple functions and facilitate meetings while ensuring deliverables are documented and followed through to closure
Experienced analysis capability with the ability to recognize and translate commonalities, trends, and feedback into business insights
Experience leading and managing complex projects with successful results and on-time delivery; must be customer service oriented
Demonstrated critical thinking and aptitude for synthesizing broad and complex sets of information into actionable recommendations that are positioned from a customer-centric perspective
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Finance/Accounting, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent field of study
Proven experience supporting complex projects and serving as SME for the business across varying functional areas and management levels
Five + of experience leveraging excellent verbal and written communication skills in consultative capacity is required
Three years of experience involving business development or sales cycle-related work involving account-specific analysis is preferred
Strong computer skills (MS Office, collaboration software) and superior PowerPoint skills required
Three years of experience working in the healthcare industry
