In this role, you'll be responsible for the onboarding and the maintaining of driver qualification files, vehicle files, and regulatory reporting for all DOT vehicles and drivers across North America.
This position would require travel throughout the United States as needed. We support our employees with training to develop skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
Onboards new drivers and ensures all regulatory and company policies are met during the driver qualification process
Maintains vehicle files for all DOT trucks and trailers and ensures the completion of preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections to maintain compliance with regulatory and company policies
Ensures annual registration, insurance, and licensing is in compliance with company policy and state/federal guidelines
Reviews hours of service reporting for compliance and ensures ELD requirements are met
Ensure compliance with all DOT D&A testing and FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
Actively looks for gaps in vehicle, equipment, and driver documentation and uses thought logic to correct discrepancies
Supports the improvement of and advances overall compliance for all DOT drivers and vehicles by staying well informed on current legislation and taking part in field operations as necessary
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a DOT Coordinator or related role
Experience with reporting and tracking using Excel and JDE is an asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with an ability to research and solve problems
Experience with JDE, ARI and Geotab is a plus
Have a basic understanding of DOT regulations and their applications is an asset
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirement
Working Conditions:
Office based position, with flexibility of working remotely
May be required to operate a fleet vehicle for business purposes
Some travel to various business unit sites may be required 25-50%
