Position Overview 

The Copywriter is responsible for creating clear, engaging and persuasive content that drives action and builds brand identity. This role involves writing a variety of content types including social media posts, advertisements, website copy, and promotional material. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure content aligns with the company’s voice, goals, and branded message. Additionally, this individual should be fluent in both English and Spanish. 

 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities 

  • Write compelling, high-quality copy for a range of materials, including but not limited to advertisements, landing pages, social media posts, and promotional materials 

  • Tailor content to suit different platforms, channels, and target audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice 

  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure all written content supports and enhances the overall marketing strategy and brand messaging 

  • Proofread and edit content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and accuracy prior to posting 

  • Integrate relevant keywords and phrases into content to increase client reach and engagement 

  • Conduct research to ensure content is informative, relevant and accurate. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor content, and audiences’ preferences 

  • Adapt and repurpose content across different platforms, as needed 

 

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 

  • Possesses excellent bilingual (English and Spanish) interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal 

  • Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns 

  • Exceptional skill in social media writing to optimize content for search engines. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite 

  • Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team 

  • Good time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple projects 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bilingual (Spanish English) B2-C1 

  • 1+ years’ experience in social media copywriting 

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent experience 

  • Experience producing copy for print and digital media channels
