As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, developing relationships, and selling to Vertical market accounts across Northern New Jersey and downstate New York.

Preferred remote location is with Northern New Jersey or Greater Westchester NY area. #LI-Remote

AS A TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE AT LIFE FITNESS / HAMMER STRENGTH, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales growth and strategic objectives in assigned geography and/or accounts

  • Cultivating and maintaining business relationships with organizations

  • Proactively managing customers’ satisfaction, successfully selling and coordinating installation of Life Fitness / Hammer Strength products and services

  • Responsible for maintaining all account data within SFDC and managing accounts through SFDC to report account progress to Regional Director

  • Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of products, services, competitors, and company-wide marketing plans, strategies, programs, and promotions

  • Managing assigned budget and maintain and submit all required sales and expense records and reports including but not limited to: weekly expense reports, open action listings (on line), forecasts, and monthly travel calendar

  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame

  • Attend scheduled sales meetings and conferences

  • Responsible for other duties as assigned

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 5+ years sales experience required; B2B experience strongly preferred

  • Resides in Northern New Jersey or the Greater Westchester area (NY)

  • Consultative sales approach

  • Proven sales ability with proficiency in the end-to-end sales cycle

  • Fitness industry experience preferred in athletics, health club fitness, or recreational fitness.

  • A proven ability to think ahead and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase sales and revenue growth

  • Strong focus on customer service

  • Technically savvy - proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel, Word & PowerPoint) is required; prior Salesforce.com and/or Oracle experience preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $49,700 - $74,600 annually.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Yonkers, NY and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength’s Sales Incentive Plan with monthly commission and quarterly bonus eligibility, in addition to base salary. The amount of any commission and bonus varies based on attainment of individual performance goals and other relevant factors, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.This position is eligible to receive a vehicle allowance to offset the costs of using a personal vehicle for business related purposes.This position is eligible to receive a mobile allowance to offset the costs of using a personal cell phone for business related purposes.
