About the Role

The Senior Manager, HR Analytics Business Partner on the People Analytics and Workforce Strategy (PAWS) team will drive the integration of data insights into strategic decisions, work closely with leaders to drive data-drive strategic planning and decisions making activities

The ideal candidate requires a strong blend of analytical expertise, HR knowledge, and strategic thinking to contribute to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. Excel in translating complex data into actionable strategies and drive partnership to enhance data-focused practices in HR organization.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Storytelling

  • Define, track, and analyze key HR metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

  • Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to present key HR insights and trends to stakeholders, including senior management, to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of HR data, including but not limited to employee demographics, performance metrics, compensation, turnover rates, and other relevant HR metrics.

  • Regularly monitor and evaluate HR metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to address challenges.

  • Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to formulate recommendations and drive robust, data-informed People decisions.

Stakeholder, Project Management, and Analytics partnerships

  • Partner with HR business partners and COE leaders to establish benchmarks, goals, and targets aligned with organizational objectives. Engage with client teams to understand and prioritize strategic goals, ensuring alignment with People Analytics (PA) roadmap decisions.

  • Partner with advanced analytics team to leverage predictive analytics to identify potential risks and opportunities within the HR function and provide proactive recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Partner with HR leaders and various stakeholders across the organization to understand their analytical needs and deliver actionable insights.

  • Provide data-informed insights and recommendations that support their strategic goals.

  • Partner with HR leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives and projects that drive organizational performance and enhance the employee experience.

  • Prioritize strategic goals and guide client teams on leveraging people data insights to achieve critical business outcomes.

  • Manage analytics and moderately complex research projects, balancing business impact with project prioritization.

  • Be an internal consultant, translating client teams’ business needs into metrics and analytics projects in collaboration with HR Technology team.

  • Act as a liaison between internal customers and People Analytics, ensuring seamless communication and project execution. Manage people analytics projects, balancing business impact with project prioritization.

Analytics Enablement

  • Respond to complex inbound inquiries with resource guidance, insights, and recommendations.

  • Work on cyclical and special projects supporting priorities, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.

  • Respond to complex inbound PA JIRA requests from client teams.

  • Collaborate to automate or streamline data collection processes, enhancing operating efficiencies.

  • Promote the adoption of centralized PA tools among internal teams

Data Analytics Solutions

  • Applies analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale platforms, infrastructure, and organizations.

  • Proficient skills in analytics Tools and relevant software/programming languages for end to end analytics delivery. EX: Power BI/visualization, MS Fabric, Datawarehouse, SQL, R, Python...etc

  • Drive data automation and Process streamlines solutions with Data Engineers.

  • Partner with data engineer to design automated solutions.

  • Support building, testing, or monitoring where applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources Reporting, People Analytics, People Data Engineering or Workforce Analytics

  • Must be located in EST or CST

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with data table operations (SQL, MS Fabric, Data Warehouse, Stored Procedures)

  • Collaborative; able to develop successful partnerships with customers and peers.

  • Knowledge of Workday or other workforce planning technologies.

  • Experience communicating complex ideas consistently and clearly.

  • History of making an impact, developing, and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term

  • 5+ years' experience as an internal or external consultant or analyst focused on generating and communicating data-informed recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Project management experience, engaging directly with enterprise-level clients and stakeholders.

  • Highly proficient skills in analytics Tools and relevant software/programming languages. EX: Power BI/visualization, MS Fabric, Datawarehouse, SQL, R, Python...etc.

  • Experience with People Analysis topics. EX: Attrition, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or Org Effectiveness….etc.

  • Experience working with data from HR technology platform – Workday, LMS, ServiceNow, Pulse
