A day in the life.

As our Marketing Analytics Intern on the Marketing team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in market analytics, working closely with various analysts to support data-driven decision-making. The intern will assist in market research, campaign performance analysis, and contributing to the development of training materials. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data analysis and eager to contribute to different analytics areas.

This is a 10 week, remote Summer Internship

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Market Research:

  • Collaboration with Market Research Analyst: Assist in gathering and analyzing data to support market research initiatives. Help with data requests, streaming data processes. and automated analysis insights.

  • Industry Segmentation Investigation: Conduct a thorough investigation of the industry segmentation framework using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) and Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes

  • Competitor Product Research: Conduct comprehensive research on competitor products and provide recommendations for marketing strategy and SEO efforts.

Performance Analysis:

  • Collaboration with Market Insights Analyst: Assist in data collection and visualization for marketing campaigns. Help evaluate campaign performance metrics and audit historical campaign data.

  • Report Preparation: Assist in preparation of regular reports summarizing key findings and insights, document processes and methodologies for future reference.

  • Collect feedback on usability and functionality for marketing analytics reports and dashboards. Compile findings to recommend enhancements.

Team Operations:

  • Predictive Analytics Tool Research: Assist the Marketing Analytics Manager in researching and evaluating predictive analytics tools.

  • Training Video development: Help develop training videos and materials to educate team members on data literacy, analytics reports, and dashboards

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of data analysis and insights.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex info clearly.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies is preferred.

  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

The applicable hourly rate for this role is $24 an hour. The hourly rate offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
