The purpose of this role is to provide project management leadership and support, ensuring the successful execution of all assigned projects. This role involves taking full responsibility for defining, documenting, and completing complex projects with high impact and dependencies, while managing resources, costs, and stakeholder expectations effectively. Additionally, the role may involve managing partnerships, programs, and initiatives, and supporting the management of program services initiatives across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project performance metrics to ensure delivery of accurate analysis in alignment with project schedules, timelines, budget resources, and achievement of desired business outcomes.
  • Manage budget and planning process for relevant project/s or program/s.
  • Partner with relevant Communication, Marketing and Sponsorship teams to develop and implement internal and or external communications, marketing and sponsorship strategy to build awareness.
  • Coach and influence internal stakeholders, regional representatives and senior leaders to execute the business unit strategy.
  • Manage and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ensure external partnerships align to QBE purpose, vision, strategy, and values.
  • Assist in improving operational efficiencies, speed to market and business processes across all programs.

Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:

  • Moderate relevant experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

  • Experience delivering and managing multi-year, complex programs.
  • Direct underwriting experience with assigned program(s).

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

  • A Tertiary Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
     

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Management, Computer Science or related field.
