Job Description

We’re seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor / Social Media Specialist to join our client’s innovative team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of content creation, blending your video editing expertise with social media savvy to produce stunning, share-worthy content that drives engagement and results. You’ll work with cutting-edge editing software like DaVinci Resolve to craft compelling narratives for various social platforms, while also contributing to the overall social media strategy. Responsibilities
  • Craft high-impact social media videos using advanced editing techniques and software like DaVinci Resolve

  • Manage content scheduling and posting across multiple social media platforms
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive content calendars for diverse client accounts
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure all video content aligns with client objectives and brand guidelines

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and video editing techniques
  • Optimize video content for maximum engagement and shareability across different platforms

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably with a focus on social media content
  • Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or equivalent professional video editing software (willingness to quickly master DaVinci Resolve if not already familiar)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and current trends
  • Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Portfolio demonstrating your video editing and social media content creation skills
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva is a plus
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and apply insights to content strategy
