Your mission

As a R&D Technician at INBRAIN you will be in contact with cutting-edge technologies in the field of neurotechnology and electrophysiology. You will be responsible for film testing laboratory tasks that involves testing, activation and characterization of electrodes for a few most important projects at INBRAIN.

You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market, making a tangible difference in people´s lives worldwide.

This position will be based in our offices at Bellaterra.
Your profile

Main responsibilities:

  • Electrochemical activation and characterization of thin films, with the aim of improving process yield and device performance;
  • Execution of characterizations to evaluate the effect of process changes and material changes on the electrochemical performance of the device;
  • Elaboration of reports with the characterization results;
  • Participation in general technical meetings;
  • Communication of the results to the Predevelopment Microfabrication team to implement the relevant changes on the fabrication process;
  • Work together with the Quality team to perform the maintenance of the potentiostat and other characterization equipment;
  • Management and stocking of the laboratory consumables and tools;
  • Responsible for ensuring proper communication between the R&D team and the Microfabrication teams;
  • Ensuring focus and clarity of activities, executing them and thinking of ways to improve and grow individually, as a team and as a technology company;

Mandatory Qualifications and Soft skills:

  • Bachelor in Science or Engineering;
  • Previous work experience in Electrochemistry; 
  • At least 1 year of hands on Laboratory experience;
  • Good level of English (it is the company language);
  • Good organizational, communication and collaboration skills;
  • Eager to create a positive team atmosphere;

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge about carbon-based and porous electrodes;
  • Data Analysis and programming skills (Python, Matlab);
