Who we're looking for
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Sales Manager to join our team. This role is critical in leading and developing our Digital Sales Specialists who are early in their career. We believe that regular presence in the hub in Reading is a key part of this role being a success.The Digital Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching and supporting a team of Digital Sales Specialists to drive opportunities and achieve sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for developing.
What you'll be delivering
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Digital Sales Specialists to achieve individual and team goals. 
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the team’s performance, providing regular feedback and development plans. 
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the Digital Sales team. 
  • Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for lead generation and pipeline development. 
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the Digital Sales team. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and support for Digital Sales initiatives. 
We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following
  • Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably within the technology industry. 
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to analyse data and metrics to drive performance improvements. 
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tools. 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Commutable distance to our Hub in Reading.
