The Global Quality Analytics & Innovation (GQAI) team leads the digital transformation and innovation effort throughout Client’s Quality organization. We are at the forefront of developing and rolling out data-centric digital tools, employing automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and generative AI to drive end-to-end quality transformation.

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Data Scientist with a strong focus on generative AI and large language models (LLMs). The successful candidate will contribute their expertise to develop AI-driven tools, optimize machine learning (ML) models, and advance the adoption of generative AI technologies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage AI and ML-powered digital products across various stages of development.
• Develop and integrate generative AI and LLM-based solutions, ensuring modular and reusable code for scalability.
• Analyze enterprise data and monitor performance of deployed models to generate actionable insights in support of business objectives and maintain data/model quality.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging ML and AI to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of MLOps pipelines and automation workflows to support scalable deployment of ML/AI solutions.

Education:
Doctorate degree in computer science, mathematics, computer/electrical engineering, or a related quantitative field
- OR -
Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or software development

Preferred Skills:
• Doctorate degree or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• Expertise in developing and deploying ML and generative AI models, including experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python and ML/AI libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Foundational knowledge and hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs.
• Familiarity with MLOps and DevOps practices, including tools like MLflow, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies, e.g., AWS, Spark, Databricks.
• Understanding of API development and deployment (e.g., FastAPI, RESTful APIs).
• Proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools like Tableau, Streamlit, or Dash.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Experience in the biotechnology industry is NOT required
