Your role and impact
As our Senior Sales Engineer for Telangana & Andhra Pradesh, your primary mission will be to develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with our company goals and market demands.
You will be our proactive local Business Developer, educating and promoting our innovative solutions, conducting market research, and generating projects for our partners. Your primary focus will be increasing sales by collaborating closely with architects, consulting engineers, MEP/HVAC contractors, and facility owners. You will showcase a hunter mentality to uncover opportunities and a competitive drive to succeed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of FabricAir products and solutions to provide tailored options for clients.
- Visiting end clients, MEP/HVAC consultants, and contractors to educate them about FabricAir fabric ducting solutions.
- Utilizing AutoCAD for duct layout understanding and technical support.
- Following up on leads effectively to achieve higher conversion rates.
- Regularly updating and maintaining our CRM system (Pipedrive) for efficient lead tracking and reporting.
- Generating sales revenue in line with set targets.
- Sharing lead and follow-up reports with your line manager.
- Staying informed about HVAC industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Who we are looking for
We are on the hunt for a candidate who not only exhibits a passion for HVAC, technology and sales but also embodies resilience, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You are a targeted person with a strong focus and drive for creating results. You have the ability to spot and solve issues for our customers and ensure high quality in any project you participate in.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in HVAC sales, preferably within related industries, and based in Hyderabad.
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge for duct layout understanding.
- Basic knowledge of heat load calculations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Telangana & Andhra Pradesh market, with a solid network of potential clients.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, capable of influencing decision-makers.
- Strong communication and writing skills, including fluency in English and local languages spoken in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh regions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM usage
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Telangana & Andhra Pradesh regions.
