Responsibilities

• Conducts reviews of audits to ensure compliance with program terms and conditions.
• Performs follow-up to ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Evaluates supporting documentation submitted by funding recipients and external auditors to resolve findings in Single Audits and Financial Statement Audits pertaining to programs.
• Prepares written communications and correspondence between funding recipients and external auditors.
• Manages multiple deliverables in different stages of a process.
• Performs dispute resolution by evaluating supporting documentation provided and documents detailed working papers supporting the final determination.
• Prepares process documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and User.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of compliance or audit experience.
• Experience communicating results and findings.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to quality assurance processes to review and verify work for accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Professional presence is required.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
• Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
