Finance Manager (Based in Malaysia)

Job Summary: 

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the company’s financial health, ensuring proper budgeting, reporting, and compliance. The role supports key business decisions by providing financial insights and managing risks. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. 

• Monitor cash flow and manage expenses. 

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations. 

• Analyze financial data to guide decision-making. 

• Lead and support the finance team. 

• Work with auditors and ensure proper internal controls. 

• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance. 
• Experience in leading, mentoring, developing a team of financce professionals
• Implement & maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Oversee the preparation of tax filings & ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Identify and mitigate financial risks proactively. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 

• 6-8 years of experience in finance or accounting (with total of 4 years in FP&A)
• Consolidation experience is an added advantage

• Knowledge of financial software and tools. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Leadership and communication abilities. 

• Knowledge of local tax and regulatory requirements.
