Job Purpose
Cognizant Marketing is searching for a Marketing Associate to support its North America marketing team.
This role will support implementation of client facing marketing programs. Role includes supporting content development, content distribution, demand generation, account-based marketing, partner marketing, social, analyst relations and advisor relations.
Responsibilities Overview
As a Marketing Associate, you will help deliver marketing campaigns and programs – from concept through design, to execution and reporting.
Here’s The Opportunity
- Business planning and management
- Help create and maintain annual marketing plans and roadmaps in PPT and Excel.
- Work with industry sales teams on event planning, strategy and execution.
- ABM programs (Account-based Marketing) design and activation for assigned programs:
- Create, document and maintain the ABM program briefs in approved templates.
- “Activate” (build and execute) program “channels” – tactics like emails, landing pages, paid social/LinkedIn and organic social
- Project manage and orchestrate resources. Work in lockstep with cross-functional and contract counterparts to write, create and build program channels.
- Paid and organic social
- Align with creative resources to write and design social chips and ad copy.
- Capture all elements needed by media planner (target audience segment and criteria, budget approval, landing pages, etc.) to strategize, quote, approve, launch, track and report ads.
- Target audience and data management – align with CoE counterparts to generate high-quality target account and contact audience lists
- Curate email send lists for emails deployed via our Pardot marketing automation platform
- Create target account segments (lists) in our 6sense ABM platform
- Upload lead lists into WZ following sponsored industry conferences, third-party lead gen campaigns, etc.
- Analysis and Reporting
- Research and report full-funnel KPIs by ABM program or event for all program channels – examples include:
- Paid media, organic social and engagement. Email and LP engagement.
- Content engagement.
- Accounts targeted, engaged, reached
- Web traffic and SEM (search engine marketing)
- Third party executive roundtables, webcasts, etc.
- Onsite client debriefs and other Cognizant-hosted events
- Sponsored industry conferences
- Our evolving reporting process includes
- Spreadsheets, dashboards, automated reports and self-serve portals for paid and organic social
- Salesforce.com (“WinZone”) reports and dashboards, working with MarTech Campaign Ops CoE.
- Content assets management
- Ensure content assets are continually updated on cognizant.com and in other required repositories.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree
- At least 2 years of prior professional services experience, including internships with a demonstrated ability to articulate key messages and value propositions
- Previous experience developing and executing integrated, account-based, demand generation and content marketing programs using martech tools such as Pardot, Adobe, etc.
- Experience in tracking marketing influenced revenue through sales automation tools such as SalesForce.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - including at the executive level.
- Ability to align tactical execution with strategic vision
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior marketing experience in professional services
- Microsoft Office, including Teams and Salesforce

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
