Your mission
ionsAs a Presales Engineer, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with the sales team to uncover challenges, design tailored solutions, and drive business success. Reporting to our Head of Sales, you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact both for our clients and within Bonitasoft.
Your journey starts with discovery. By engaging deeply with clients, you’ll uncover their business challenges – even the ones they might not have identified themselves. Using this insight, you’ll craft solutions that align with their objectives, showcasing how Bonitasoft’s BPM platform can transform their operations. Your work will directly contribute to solving operational problems.
You’ll design and deliver custom demonstrations, proof of concepts, and workshops tailored to each client’s needs, showing not just what our platform does but what it can do for them. Your ability to bridge the gap between technical details and business benefits will help clients see the true value of our solutions.
Beyond client engagements, you’ll contribute to Bonitasoft’s strategic initiatives. From improving internal tools and processes to collaborating on webinars, trade shows, and other marketing events, your input will help refine and elevate how we connect with the market. As a key player in the presales process, you’ll stay ahead of industry trends and competitive insights to ensure Bonitasoft delivers the best solutions to our clients.
Finally, you’ll take ownership of key stages in the client journey, including supporting RFIs/RFPs processes, running workshops, and delivering presentations that resonate with both technical teams and C-level executives.
What You Bring to the Table
We’re looking for a skilled professional with a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and outstanding communication skills. Here’s what makes you the ideal fit:
- Technical Background: Engineering degree or equivalent experience with strong knowledge of Java, SQL, JavaScript, REST APIs, and low-code tools. Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server is essential.
- Experience: Proven success in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical role, ideally with BPM, RPA, or Digital Transformation solutions.
- Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English; conversational French.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, effective presentation abilities, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executives.

Your onboarding journey is designed to help you progressively gain the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in your role. Here's what to expect:
- First Month: Dive into product training, shadow team members, and meet key teams to gain a deep understanding of our solutions and processes.
- Months 2-3: Implement what you’ve learned, participate in client engagements, and start contributing to key presales initiatives with your team’s support.
- By Month 6: You’ll start to be fully operational, confidently leading pre-sales meetings, delivering tailored technical solutions, and driving client success.
