About the team

The Account Executive team is part of the Sales Team at Gorgias. We educate merchants on optimizing their customer experience for efficiency and personalization at scale. The focus of our team is selling our primary product offerings to prospective new customers in an inbound capacity. In this highly consultative role, you will be at the forefront of innovative tech solutions and your skills will be instrumental in driving revenue. You will join a well established team of high quota attainers and well established track record of success (currently listed in the top 10% of sales orgs according to RepVue!)

What You'll Do
  • As part of our Account Executive team, your role will be selling our primary product offerings to inbound leads.

  • You will be in a sales role, hold a quota and be responsible for optimizing your own process to hit that quota

  • You will own the sales process from inbound discovery call, through demo and closing process

  • You will have inbound leads sourced by Partnerships and Marketing teams

  • You will work collaboratively with the sourcing partners to take deals from interested prospects to paying customers.

Who You Are
  • 2-3 years of sales experience as an Account Executive or selling directly to e-commerce brands in a closing role

  • Demonstrated success in a fast paced and high volume sales environment

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota

  • Tech Savvy, you will act as a solutions consultant that can speak to how our products can help improve the CX experience and drive revenue

  • Selling is something you love doing, you want to be coached and further develop your sales skills

  • Ability to understand complex ideas and automate processes

  • Active listener who can identify opportunities and leverage them

  • Strong ability to move fast and get things done

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills in English

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding quota

  • Proven ability to prospect and develop a pipeline

  • Experience with selling SaaS or e-commerce clients
