We are currently looking for passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist with experience of working or recruiting in the retail sector to support one of our clients, an International Retailer, in their continued global expansion.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging candidates who embody our clients values and behaviours and who want to develop their retail career with an employer who prioritises their people, customer experience and progression. You will have exposure to the end to end recruitment process, partnering closely with internal TA, People & Culture and stakeholders from the Retail business and will leverage your local market knowledge and expertise in sourcing and candidate engagement to build diverse pipelines of quality talent.
We want outside of the box thinkers, Recruiters who are accomplished at using traditional channels such as job boards and social media, but who also think of new and creative ways to reach new talent. This will be a fast paced and dynamic environment, so we’re looking for Recruiters who thrive when working at pace, enjoy the challenge of achieving delivery goals and prioritise candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process. What you’ll be doing:
- Inputting in to and owning recruitment and sourcing strategies that deliver the quality and quantity of required candidates for Management or Retail roles
- Management of the E2E recruitment process in partnership with internal TA, People & Culture and Store Leaders
- Management and coordination of interview scheduling, reference checking and offer requests
- Managing job board advertising or Client career-site postings, ensuring adverts are compelling, align with employer brand guidelines and are positioned to reach our target audiences
- Proactively sourcing (identifying) candidates utilizing a broad range of channels and techniques (e.g. search engines, job board databases, social networking sites)
- Experience of proactive candidate engagement and headhunting – you will be recruiting in local markets that require a high touch search mentality – building target lists, headhunting and building relationships with limited pools of talent
- Grassroots activity to target local candidate audiences including building partnerships with local communities, schools, universities etc.
- Developing own network of sector-specific candidates and utilize networking skills to identify and engage with talented candidates (i.e. referrals from referrals, cold-calling, etc.)
- Engaging, screening and qualifying candidates to determine suitability and obtain required information (e.g. availability, permission to represent) in order to create short lists
- Delivering excellent candidate experience; recognising that in the retail industry, candidates are also customers of the brand as well. Ensure that all interactions with candidates are professional and supportive throughout the E2E process
- Accurate and timely ATS updates and inputs into required tracking and reporting
- Stakeholder management and deliver of regular status updates throughout a recruitment campaign
- Maintaining agreed service levels and targets
You’ll need to demonstrate:
- Fluency in Romanian and English, both written and spoken
- Experience in the retail sector, either whilst recruiting or working in a store e.g., Team Leader or Department Manager where you’ve been responsible for hiring
- Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes with expertise in sourcing and candidate engagement
- Creativity and determination to deliver – outcomes focussed with ideas to continually improve candidate pipeline and overcome challenges
- Experience in the use of recruitment technology and recruitment databases and ATS
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate confidently and manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Analytical skills, data driven and inquisitive mindset with the ability to think out of the box on non-linear searches
- Ability to work in a fast-paced matrix organization where resilience and boldness are key success factors
- Romanian market experience.
