About The Position
The D365 BC Business Analyst at Velosio:
Velosio is recruiting a highly motivated D365 BC Business Analyst to join our award-winning firm and be a part of a growing practice. Our BC Specialists provide functional and technical consulting services for Microsoft Dynamics BC Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software projects, and understand, communicate, interpret, and document business processes and requirements, resulting in a high level of client satisfaction. Your Day Might Look Like
- Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to elicit and document business requirements related to Microsoft technology implementations.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for existing challenges, improvement, optimization, and long term objectives.
- Solution Design and Documentation:
- Work closely with technical teams to collaborate and translate business requirements into detailed solution designs.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and data models, to guide the development and implementation of Microsoft solutions.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist in project planning, tracking, and coordination to ensure timely and successful delivery of Microsoft services.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Ability to closely follow Velosio methodologies and deliverable requirements.
- Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Develop and execute test plans to validate that implemented solutions meet specified requirements.
- Identify and address issues during testing phases, working closely with development and testing teams.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives.
- Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about the latest Microsoft technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
Recommend process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Microsoft services.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a professional services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and Power Platform.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams, both verbal and written.
- Project management experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals) are a plus.
