Description
CFRA is seeking a French Translator to translate and review French-language market reports. The translator will ensure the accuracy of translations, identify areas for improvement, and maintain consistency in financial and technical terminology.
This is a contract position, lasting 1-3 months. This position is open to candidates located in the United States only.
Key Responsibilities
Review and edit machine-translated market reports from English to French for accuracy and fluency.
- Identify and address areas where translations can be improved to ensure clarity and professionalism.
- Verify accuracy in the translation of charts, data, and other technical elements within the reports.
- Ensure consistency in the use of financial and technical terminology.
- Collaborate with the team to clarify content and provide suggestions for improving translation workflows.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience as a French translator, with a focus on financial or technical content.
- Strong understanding of financial terminology and concepts.
- Experience reviewing and improving machine-translated content (preferred).
