Job Summary: OPSPro is seeking a Director of Human Resources with strong GovCon experience to help oversee the strategic development, management, and administration of human resources activities, such as employment law, compliance reporting, policy and procedures, benefits and compensation, employee relations, and training and development. This position is multi-client facing. The Director of Human Resources will work remotely.

- Serves as the HR interface for potential clients, seeking to creatively align OPSPro HR capabilities and solutions with client business goals. Engages with potential and current clients at industry events, on prospective client calls, and in the new client onboarding.
- Acts as a visionary yet has a roll-up-the-sleeves approach regarding the strategic design, development, and implementation of HR programs, policies, and practices for new and existing clients.
- Provides strong leadership, mentorship, and training to a team of HR professionals responsible for external human resources consultation.
- Continuously learns and applies strong working knowledge and application of federal government contracting and other regulatory requirements including but not limited to DOL, OFCCP, and FAR (examples would include AAPs and regulatory reporting such as EEO1, VETS 4212, and OSHA).
- Maintains knowledge and conducts analysis to validate compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws applicable to all HR functions.
- Supports and drives excellence across the entire employee lifecycle including, but not limited to, compensation and benefits, employee relations, regulatory compliance, leave administration, recruiting and retention, performance management, and training and development.
- Provides clients with management coaching on employee related issues such as performance improvement, employment law, employee relations (grievance and discipline) and terminations.
- Develops HR policies and procedures for new and existing clients, communicates required changes and interprets new policies for employees, managers, and clients.
- Passionately drives results by thinking and acting quickly and proactively to ensure the long-term best interest of clients.
- Maintains a strong ability to establish and foster positive relationships with employees, managers, executives, and clients at all levels of the organization while maintaining extreme confidentiality.
- Continuously evaluates human capital risk: succession planning, employee performance, key opportunities and threats.
- Establishes and maintains trusting and lasting relationships with internal and external customers.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required.
- 7+ years progressive experience in a Human Resources leadership role.
- 5+ years of federal government contracting HR experience.
- 10+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles for organizations of varying size, ownership structure and/or industry and complexity.
- 7+ years of experience managing Employee Relations.
- 7+ years of experience developing and interpreting policies.
- Proven ability to leverage best practices, proven methodologies, and technology platforms. Experience with multiple HR Information Systems, preferably iSolved, ADP, Workday, or Paylocity. Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Proven organization skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining timeliness and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritize needs to provide a high level of support for HR team members, internal clients, and external clients.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and under pressure.
- Ability to meet goals while working under limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Experience working in a multiple external client environment.
- Sector knowledge in insurance brokerage or financial services desired.
- Working knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) experience
- Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) experience.
- iSolved HRIS implementation and administration experience.
- SPHR/PHR certification.
