Porch is looking for a seasoned, customer-centric NetSuite Solutions Engineer to support our growing business teams.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for driving NetSuite development efforts, as we look to grow and streamline our Business Systems architecture.
What You Will Do As A Senior NetSuite Engineer
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, System Analysts, and key users to translate business requirements into technical designs, functional processes, and data mappings.
- Develop technical scoping documents, build functional designs, and create customized solutions within NetSuite ERP.
- Configure, test, and implement NetSuite solutions, integrating with third-party applications and supporting API connections.
- Support troubleshooting, testing, and optimization, leveraging SuiteAnalytics for reporting and analysis.
- Assist with onboarding new business units and implementing new NetSuite tools and modules.
What You Will Bring As A Senior NetSuite Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; 4 years of professional experience in lieu of degree
- 8+ years of demonstrated expertise in application development techniques and understanding NetSuite data models, configurations and transaction flows.
- Deep expertise in designing and developing NetSuite scripts and workflows.
- Demonstrated expertise in application development techniques and understanding NetSuite data models, configurations and transaction flows.
- Demonstrated experience with developing custom records, forms, segments, fields, saved searches, reports, permissions/roles, and CSV imports a plus.
- Experience utilizing the SuiteCloud Development Framework when deploying customizations; experience deploying with Salto / Gitlab to manage deploys a plus.
- Hands on experience with SuiteAnalytics to generate reports, workbooks, datasets for the users.
- Previous experience integrating with third-party applications and NetSuite APIs
- Strong experience and knowledge of SuiteScript 2.0, JavaScript, JSON, SuiteBuilder, XML, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- 3+ years working in a complex NetSuite environment
- NetSuite ERP Certification are a plus including NetSuite SuiteFoundation and/or NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer.
- Agile (SCRUM) experience a plus
- Experience with credit card and ACH processing systems and integrations
- Experience in the full lifecycle software development process, including documentation and maintenance of software functionality
- Proven experience working with US based business teams
- Excellent written and communication skills in English language
- Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap
- Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload
