The Team You Will Join
The Complaints & Litigation Specialist is responsible for researching and responding to complaints and grievances, submitted by MetLife customer's or the Department of Insurance, pertaining to Group Claims & Service Operations.
Job Location : Must live within a commutable distance of a MetLife Office near Aurora IL, Bloomfield CT, Bridgewater NJ, Cary NC, Clarks Summit PA, Oriskany NY, Tampa FL, Warwick RI, San Juan PR
In office once a month for meetings
Principal Responsibilities:
- Research claims and service complaints using multiple applications and systems.
- Partner with the Claims and Service Organizations to bring the complaint to resolution.
- Communicate with the complainant, various Departments of Insurance, and internal customers as needed.
- Update claim applications with complaint status and resolution.

What You Need To Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Knowledge of insurance and claim processes preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Critical thinking and detail oriented
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel
