PeaceHealth is seeking a Manager Revenue Integrity for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $45.14 – $67.70. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Responsible for managing and leading the payment compliance process of Hospital Billing claims to ensure contractual payment terms are met. Focuses on improving revenue accuracy and ensuring compliance with federal, local and third-party payer contract requirements. Manages the payment compliance team and work with leadership within the department to achieve goals.

  • Must currently reside in WA, OR, AK, TX, or willing to relocate by date of hire.

Details of the Position:

  • Leads and manages the internal payment compliance team to efficiently review, identify, and recover payment compliance variances.
  • Manages the working relationship with external payment compliance vendors.
  • Monitors external vendor's performance set forth in the vendor's scope of work, overseeing the process and collections to ensure financial goals are met and payment compliance issues are resolved.
  • Facilitates payment compliance meetings with director, internal team and external vendors to present and recommends resolutions of key issues that result in payment compliance variances.
  • Assists director with monitoring the achievement of goals for payment compliance reimbursement collection.
  • Manages the Payment Compliance Issues Log
  • Sets scope and variance threshold guidelines used to differentiate internal and external workstreams to ensure 100% of A/R will be reviewed.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the internal payment compliance team. Manages, coaches, mentors and trains caregivers. Conducts performance monitoring and evaluations.
  • Ensures continual maintenance of knowledge base pertaining to changes in payer contracts, state and CMS regulations for reimbursement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Required: Business Administration or
  • Bachelor's Degree Required: Finance or
  • Bachelor's Degree Required: Healthcare Administration and or equivalent field of study.
  • Master's Degree Preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years Required: Health care revenue cycle and payment compliance
  • Minimum of 2 years Required: Leadership experience

Skills

  • Ability to multi-task in an environment of competing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
