Skilled Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric NP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing immediate psychiatric and substance use disorders through both therapeutic and pharmacological interventions
  • Diagnose mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, psychotic disorders, and more
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, and lifestyle modifications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive integrated care and support
  • Educate patients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and self-management techniques
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care, including new medications and therapeutic approaches

Qualifications

  • Certified Menetal Health Nurse Practitioner
  • 1-2 years of OR experience preferred but not required
  • Hold a current and unrestricted license or certification
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
