Channel Marketing Specialist

Pella, IA, Urbandale, IA, or Remote

We are seeking a motivated and strategic Channel Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing and executing successful channel marketing programs. This position will work in conjunction with sales and marketing functions to execute go-to-market, acquisition and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement channel marketing strategies to support sales and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to create joint marketing plans and programs.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns and activities across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and events.
  • Manage relationships with channel partners to ensure alignment on marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of channel marketing programs and campaigns, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Optimize marketing content and materials for different channels to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Plan and manage budgets for channel marketing activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve channel marketing efforts.
  • Provide training and support to channel partners to maximize their marketing capabilities and effectiveness.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support sales channel objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to create joint marketing plans and programs.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns and activities across various marketing channels, including digital, social media, email, and events, in partnership with other marketing teams.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of channel marketing programs and campaigns, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Collaborate with Brand teams to understand and add insights to target audiences, shopper journeys and other marketing foundations.
  • Optimize marketing content and materials for different channels to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Plan and manage budgets for channel marketing activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve channel marketing efforts.
  • Provide training and support to channel partners to maximize their marketing capabilities and effectiveness.
  • Prepares/manages channel budgets and objectives based on goals, market and competitive position. Assist in the development and management of division and segment marketing budgets based on defined process as part of annual strategic planning. Develops metrics for activities where applicable. Reviews and assigns vendor invoices for processing.
  • Establishes links with key sales and product development personnel. Integrates solid communication practices early in required process to leads matching Pella marketing materials and services that accomplish measurable results. Facilitates the adoption of product planning process and standards.
  • Responsible for the communication of Pella’s brand standards for use by Pella team members, agency partners and external customers. This includes ensuring accessibility of the most current standards for all stakeholders.


EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of industry graphics programs such as Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign, and QuarkXpress desired but not required.
