Main responsibilities
The Communication Business partner is responsible for developing and executing high-impact communication strategies that facilitate HR-related communications to support employee engagement, organizational change, and HR initiatives. Working closely with the Transformation Office and Corporate Communications, this role will ensure that all change initiatives are clearly communicated, well-understood, and embraced by employees and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a background in both HR and corporate communications, excellent writing and presentation skills, and a strong understanding of change management.
Strategic Communication Planning
- Design and implement a 360 communications strategy to identify and support key P&C initiatives and priorities, including culture, performance, employee listening (annual survey), diversity, equity & inclusion, talent acquisition and compensation and benefits
- Collaborate with the P&C leadership team to understand the scope, objectives, and impact of P&C initiatives, and translate these into effective communication plans.
- Establish communications plan timelines, milestones, and deliverables to track progress and ensure timely completion.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Content Development and Message Delivery:
- Develop, write, and edit various types of content, including email announcements, newsletters, intranet posts, presentations, FAQs, and more, ensuring high-quality, clear, and engaging communication.
- Ensure all HR communications are aligned with the company’s tone, culture, and brand.
Stakeholder Alignment and Engagement:
- Engage and partner with key stakeholders across departments, ensuring consistent and tailored messaging for diverse audiences.
- Act as a liaison between the Transformation Office and Corporate Communications, fostering alignment and cohesive messaging.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on best practices for effective, clear communication
Measurement & Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze the impact of communication efforts using engagement metrics, employee feedback, and other data points.
- Continuously refine communication strategies based on data-driven insights to improve effectiveness and employee engagement.
Lead internal and external communications for Chief People Officer.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Journalism.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications or HR communications. Familiarity with HR functions, policies, and processes, and an understanding of how HR impacts company culture and employee experience would be a +.
- Proven experience developing and executing internal and external multichannel communications strategies, preferably within a corporate or agency environment.
- Experience supporting executives on their communications, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated understanding of internal and external communications channels and tools.
- Exceptional project management abilities, capable of overseeing multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in FMCG and/ or Health Care preferable.
- Fluent in English and French
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for business communication.
- Global business perspective with local appreciation; proven advisory and influencing skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in data analysis, including engagement metrics and survey data.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools or video editing software to enhance communication materials.
- Knowledge of internal communications best practices and trends.
