The consolidation team is a newly created team part of One Finance organization and aiming at supporting the Consolidation Reporting & Norms roadmap

We are looking for a Consolidation Lead, part of a team of 4 people within Statutory Consolidation organization, to embark in this extraordinary journey.

This role offers a challenging day-to-day experience, involving key activities alongside other members of the Consolidation department, significant interaction with local affiliates within your scope, regular engagement with corporate functions (Controlling, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Internal Control).

Main responsibilities

1. Financial Consolidation:

  • Manage the end-to-end financial consolidation process for your zone, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS accounting standards.
  • Contribute to the specific instructions to the entities and conduct training sessions.
  • Coordinate with local finance teams and Global Business Services (GBS) to gather accurate and timely financial data.
  • Prepare the contributive analytical reviews (P&L, BS, CFS & Tax proof) of your scope with the support of local teams.
  • Monitor a “Risks & opportunities” analysis for your scope in order to prepare and optimize the closing process.
  • Participate actively to the Group reporting process optimization adopting a continuous improvement spirit, being proactive in feedbacks and a creative force.
  • Contribute to the integration projects of new entities in case of acquisitions and divestments.

2. Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure the appropriate treatment is applied for complex and/or significant deals, as a support to local affiliates or other global departments.
  • Participate to the evaluation of potential impacts of IFRS evolution for the Group and to the implementation of changes required (process, tools, change management).
  • Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address audit queries.

3. System Strategy and Evolution:

  • Continuously evaluate and streamline consolidation processes, identifying opportunities for automation, standardization and efficiency gains.
  • Participate to the implementation of system upgrades or replacements, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maximizing efficiency.

About you

  • You are a highly qualified professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and you bring 5 to 10 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Strong practical understanding of IFRS principles and hands-on experience with SAP FC and Microsoft Excel.
  • Your analytical skills are sharp, allowing you to synthesize complex financial data into clear insights.
  • You are known for your leadership, your autonomy, your ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. Your communication skills enable you to collaborate efficiently across various levels of the organization.
  • You are business oriented with a focus on teamwork to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • You are fluent in English (French is a plus), and if possible, you hold an accounting certification.
