We’re looking for a Delivery Manager for our Solutions team. The Solutions team at amazee.io is responsible for delivering custom web and cloud projects for our customers. This includes a wide range of issues and solutions required by our clients, including migrations and application onboarding. There are also many custom web and cloud solutions that would fall outside of our core service offering as a cloud hosting solution provider but provide untold benefits for our customers alongside the standard services offered by our platform. 

As the Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of custom client projects, from initiation to conclusion, with a focus on scope, time, budget, and overall project management. In this role, you will guide the project team, providing support, removing obstacles, and ensuring that projects stay on track to meet client expectations. You will collaborate closely with project team members, which will largely be made up of external partners and vendors, to foster a results-driven, well-structured, agile project environment, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected standards.

Location: This is a fully remote position, however we require you to be based in an EMEA or Americas timezone.

What you’ll do:

End-to-end Project Delivery Management:
Manage the full delivery lifecycle of custom client projects built with open source and modern web technologies, including scoping, planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Custom Solution Delivery:
Assist the team lead in project planning and proposals, ensuring that project plans align with client requirements and objectives and that project solutions and direction are tailored to client needs.

Internal and External stakeholder management:
Work with the team and external vendors to ensure the resources and skills required are available, aligned, and able to work to project timelines and expectations. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Project manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams. Foster a collaborative environment where team members are empowered and encouraged to contribute ideas and solve problems.

Client & Internal Reporting:
Regularly report project status to both internal stakeholders and clients. Track project KPIs (e.g., timelines, budget, scope alignment, quality) and adjust processes as needed to meet delivery goals.

Post-Launch Support:
Ensure smooth project handover to internal Business-As-Usual teams post-launch.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a project management, delivery management role, or product owner role within an open source tech environment 
• Deep experience working on custom software development projects, product delivery, and/or digital transformation initiatives
• Ability to effectively lead, drive, and coordinate cross-functional project teams
• Proficiency in project management methodologies following agile mindsets
• Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders well, understand their needs, and provide transparent direction, communication, and expectation management to deliver the projects
• Ability to think strategically while acting tactically to prioritize tasks and make data-driven decisions to address challenges and meet project goals
