Job Description

Are you passionate about social media and have a knack for creating engaging content? We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. Responsibilities
  • Create and curate engaging, on-brand content for multiple social media platforms, ensuring a consistent and impactful online presence
  • Utilize Canva to design visually appealing graphics, documents, and other marketing materials that align with brand guidelines
  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies to increase engagement and grow our online community
  • Manage content calendars and schedule posts across various platforms to maintain a regular and optimized posting schedule
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, suggesting innovative ideas to keep our content fresh and relevant
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure social media efforts align with overall business goals and objectives
  • Assist in creating supporting documents and materials for social media campaigns and other marketing initiatives
  • Monitor social media metrics and contribute to performance reports, providing insights to improve future strategies


Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
  • Proficiency in using Canva and other design tools to create visually appealing content
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and their best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and content strategy
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to inform content decisions
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and strategies in the ever-evolving social media landscape
  • Experience with or interest in newsletter creation and marketing funnel development is a plus
