Job description

The MinistryPlatform Implementation Specialist (MPC) provides implementation assistance for both new and existing customers using ACS Technologies church management solution, MinistryPlatform. For all customers, the MPC will work to understand the clients needs, goals, problems and work to develop a custom instance of MinistryPlatform for each client. For onboarding clients, the MPC will work to make the transition from the legacy system into MinistryPlatform tailored to their needs and goals, providing excellent guidance and meeting all timelines determined by the onboarding team.


What You’ll Do:

  • Shepherds a new customer from the sales team through implementation and journeys with them for a significant time post cutover. 

  • Continually drives multiple customers at various stages of the onboarding AND post onboarding process and actively project manages all assigned client coaching onboarding and retainers

  • Work with ministry partners to determine goals, understand internal processes, document decisions, and provide troubleshooting as needed.  

  • Communicates and manages internal and external onboarding requirements, timelines and expectations with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinates resources needed to complete onboarding tasks, on time and with a high level of quality. 

  • Develops a deep understanding of the customers data, how it is used and how to best implement it from a legacy system into MinistryPlatform for all onboarding customers.

  • Reports issues to support and development teams as appropriate. Represent the voice of the customer (VOC) as required.

  • Ensures client understanding of solutions by assigning appropriate training courses and leading foundational onboarding remote training sessions.


What We’re Looking For:

  • BS (Business or related field) or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in a large church or diocese as a database manager is highly preferred. 

  • A deep level of understanding of how large churches or dioceses do business and their standard best practices. 

  • 1+ years of using MinistryPlatform as an enterprise-level solution for churches and diocese

  • An understanding of specific, assigned denomination(s) and vocabulary used within that denomination(s).

  • Capability to use internal software solutions, especially CRM or Customer Success tools.

  • A strong process-building mindset and ability to balance competing priorities.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem solving while keeping the customer first.

  • A passion for helping others excel at using MinistryPlatform

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English.

  • Demonstrated internal motivation with the ability to lead without direct authority with interest in the advancement of ministry, business and helping others reach their goals.
