•  Enter data into the database quickly and accurately
•  Check records for accuracy
•  Add new or revised information to the database
•  Regularly back up data to preserve it
•  Find records and electronic files from the database
•  Provide reports and data to employees and executives
•  Maintain confidentiality: Keep sensitive information confidential
