Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Lead
Varonis Systems is the leader in unstructured and semi-structured data governance software, which is any human generated data that is within a company’s environment. Our goal is to protect companies most sensitive information from insider threats and cyberattacks. We do this by allowing organizations to analyze, secure, manage, and migrate their volumes of unstructured data.  
As the Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Lead, you will hire, develop, and coach a team of high-performing SDRs. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating qualified sales meetings for enterprise account executives. You’ll also play a critical role in mentoring and preparing SDRs to become world-class sales professionals.   
The ideal candidate will have experience driving pipeline generation, leading sales development teams and working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams. 
This role is based in our Morrisville North Carolina, Scottdale Arizona, and New York City offices.
What you’ll do: 
  • Hire, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of 8+ SDRs who consistently exceed aggressive goals and will become future AEs at Varonis 
  • Use data to ensure your team is hitting daily pipeline targets and complying with SLAs, address underperformance and reward excellence 
  • Regularly audit outbound prospecting activity to ensure the team is engaging effectively with the right accounts 
  • Foster a strong relationship with your field sales counterparts by communicating updates and gathering feedback on pipeline development, staffing, and meeting quality 
  • Engage with SDR team leads, managers, and SDRs to share best practices in multi-channel outbound prospecting techniques 
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure campaign success while providing input on new campaign development  
  • Provide mentorship and direction on career growth opportunities for SDRs 
The ideal candidate will have: 
  • 2+ years in an SDR organization with 1+ year in SDR leadership 
  • Proficiency in SDR technology such as SalesLoft, Outreach, Orum, 6sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo 
  • Track record of executing an outbound sales strategy that involves multichannel outreach tracked heavily by input/output metrics 
  • Passion for attracting, developing, retaining world-class talent early in their sales career
