Overview:
American Collectors Insurance is looking for a Collector Car Community Specialist to join our marketing team.
The energetic, passionate professional in this role will manage, develop and oversee social media strategy, content and calendar as both social media manager and content creator.
They should understand how to utilize content and social media to both expand brand awareness and utilize these platforms to generate leads and drive KPIs. We are looking for a social-savvy, content-driven curator and community manager who knows how to connect content with target audiences, get them to engage with it in a meaningful way, and track performance across platforms to meet business objectives.
This role will involve some travel to car shows and industry events throughout the year. You will attend, as needed, to capture and/or create content as well as interact with the collector car community.
Our office is located in Cherry Hill, NJ and this role can be done in-office or hybrid (partially remote).
In this role you will:
- Proactively work to increase engagement and evolve strategy based on insights around content performance
- Serve as the voice of the brand to the community, and the voice of the community
- Be responsible for creating and optimizing a framework for an interactive community that can be utilized to provide value to current collector car owners and to expand the overall collector car hobby
- Work across the program and marketing teams to develop engaging content and acquisition sources, which will drive owners into the marketing funnel
- Responsibilities range across a wide variety of strategies and tactics, including but not limited to digital, blogs, websites, print, podcasts, and events

Compensation: $70-75k/yr depending on experience level

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively engage and motivate customers to engage in community interactions, e.g., active discussions, user-generated content, and product testimonials.
- Develop sticky content to increase the passion for, and the size of, the collector car hobby, taking users through a developmental journey from curious, to active, to advocate, to evangelist.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to develop brand strategies and voice into direct communication with our social audiences and turn them into fans of the brand.
- Create/optimize a framework that can be utilized to generate interest in a branded collector car community.
o Engage in Influencer Marketing: Identify key influencers and groups to foster relationships and identify ongoing opportunities. Actively grow and manage brand ambassador and key blogger relationships, user-groups, and influencers to develop content to increase community engagement.
- Develop/Promote Online Collector Car Community: Develop and manage Community Engagement Strategies to increase community size, strengthen community connections, and deepen engagement (e.g., Facebook Like campaigns, private Facebook Groups, sweepstakes, live streams, polls, photo galleries, video, engaging/viral content, user-generated content contests (UGC), etc.).
- Create Content: Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content to keep discussions and content flowing (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news). Increase/drive interest into programs/events and create viral activity and re-sharing. Identify trending topics, community needs, and interests of clients’ audience across social media, adjusting content and messaging accordingly.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain a program to run strategic social partnerships with like-minded brands to increase brand exposure to new audiences.
- Report/Analyze: Maintain ecosystem of measurement and evaluation of social/mobile program success on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis using internal/external analytics tools. Analyze/ evaluate community efforts based on metrics/KPIs, optimizing and/or pivoting when appropriate.
- Make Recommendations: Research and develop new acquisition sources to move collector car owners into the top of the marketing funnel. Identify monetization opportunities through partner collaboration, advertising, and referrals.
- Leverage collector community development efforts to bolster the overarching brand initiatives and goals, address business needs, content needs, KPIs, and budget across brands.
- Source and manage relationships with strategic partners/vendors, social media agencies and social monitoring platforms to support and develop operational/commercial opportunities.
- Understand the convergence of digital, social media, mobile marketing, content strategies, loyalty, web user experiences and esthetics to get users to engage with content.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Outgoing with a great attitude, willing to dig in and collaborate with various stakeholders as a social media/community/content manager/specialist
- Advanced knowledge of social media platform best practices
- Familiarity with digital marketing metrics/concepts (incl. SEO, keyword research), Google Analytics and social media analytics
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video) in a compelling manner
- Experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, publishing email newsletters etc.)
- Excellent writing and communication skills required
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills
- Willing to Travel (we attend 25+ car shows a year)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field
- 4-5 years of content marketing experience, with at least two years of strategic ownership of a brand
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Software (e.g., MS Office (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), Teams, Dynamics 365)
Desired Qualifications:
- Creative: This candidate knows how to tell a story with personality in a limited number of characters and with a key visual. They have excellent writing skills and have dabbled in photo and video editing to create the right post.
- HubSpot Experience: With a minimum of one year experience in HubSpot, the ideal candidate understands the platform and its capabilities.
- Agency Experience: The Collector Car Community Specialist understands how to adapt to various roles and responsibilities. They will be able to function autonomously, be self-directed, dynamic, and decisive.
